So we've done all that "the world hates mutants" bullcrap... Okay. We get it. People are prejudiced. That doesn't mean we need to have it going on in 95% of our RPGs. Yes, that's what the X-Men have been about - fighting prejudice... but it's damn time they've been accepted SOMEWHERE. It's damn time that people decide to stop the hate.
Unfortunately, that's not quite what I'm suggesting here.
Naturally - when people hate for no good reason - the ones being hated get fed up. It's just what happens - it's the natural response. To get fed up and try to get out of the situation. Change the Status Quo.
And I think that's what we need: a new Status Quo. Not a "new Status Quo", like the one they claimed would come as a result of the X-Men moving to San Francisco because, Darlings, let's face it: It's the same exact thing, only written much more horribly and with bad art every other story arc... But - oh - it's completely different... because now it's in San Francisco.
But seriously... I think we NEED a new Status Quo. I think we're all getting tired of the old, crusty mission-based formula we've had going...
And that is why I propose the X-Men move to Genosha and our RPG become a "Genosha RPG".
For once, the X-Men can be ACCEPTED somewhere. They can have social lives. They can deal with things other than the constant threat of extinction. They can have a good time. They can be HAPPY. They can be paraded around as HEROES; as PROTECTORS of something, instead of people who have the plague. For once.
I think it's time we set OUR X-Men farther apart from the mainstream X-Men, don't you?

If your idea is boring though, and that's why you're easy to distract...well, that's a really fantastic reason for not being able to focus on the task at hand! In that case, head back to the drawing board. And again, don't give up!"- Marjorie Liu, NYX: No Way Home interview
"Really? That's INANE. Most people in life don't HAVE great power, and the few that do are almost NEVER responsible with it. The people who have the greatest responsibility are the kids with NO POWER because we're the ones who have to keep everybody else in check."- Gertrude Yorkes, Runaways (vol. 2) #11
