Phyress

From Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria.

Name: Phyress (no last name given)

Age: 58 (resurrected as a 17-year-old)

Paraphernalia: A somewhat-oversized bow and a quiver full of arrows.

Powers and abilities:

Phyress is a very skilled archer and is capable of hitting almost any target from a great distance.

She also has an extensive knowledge of alchemy and is able to create potions.

Phyress is capable of casting moderate-level offensive magic.

Background info: Before her death, Phyress was the queen of Dipan. She scoured the world, searching for alchemic texts, so she could complete theTome of Truths. The four witches, seeing this as a threat, decided that it was time for Phyress to die and killed her off. Unfortunately for them, Phyress was also a celebrated archer and - as such - was taken by the Valkyrie Silmeria to be one of her Einherjar. When Silmeria was banished from Asgard and sent to be reincarnated as Princess Alicia of Dipan - a process which failed, leaving Alicia with both her own mind and the mind of the Valkyrie - Silmeria rematerialized Phyress as a 17 year old girl. Phyress helped then helped in defeating both Odin and the mage, Lezard Valeth.

Since then, Phyress has focused on getting revenge on the witches who originally took her life from her.

"A story has to be finished, and no matter how distracted you get, you need to force yourself to forge ahead, word by word. If your idea is boring though, and that's why you're easy to distract...well, that's a really fantastic reason for not being able to focus on the task at hand! In that case, head back to the drawing board. And again, don't give up!" - Marjorie Liu, NYX: No Way Home interview

"Really? That's INANE. Most people in life don't HAVE great power, and the few that do are almost NEVER responsible with it. The people who have the greatest responsibility are the kids with NO POWER because we're the ones who have to keep everybody else in check." - Gertrude Yorkes, Runaways (vol. 2) #11
