Powers- Being the Avatar, Kai has mastery over all 4 elements (water, fire, earth and air). When in pits of high emotional stress, Kai may enter the Avatar State which is a defense mechanism, in which an Avatar may freely access the knowledge and powers of all previous Avatars. This provides the Avatar with great powers, as well as mastery over all four elements (even if The Avatar has not yet learned all four bending disciplines). While in this state the Avatar's eyes glow a brilliant white. The Avatar is pretty much invincible in the Avatar State, having millenia of bending experience which can surpass an army of benders, there is one grave weakness. If the Avatar was killed while he or she is in the Avatar State, then the cycle will be permanently broken and the Avatar will cease to exist. Abilities- Kai has is trained in combat by her Water master, Master Pakku
Background- Born in the Southern Water Tribe, the small baby was sent to the North Pole for Avatar testing. After her choosing the 7 relics of past Avatars, her identitiy was confrirmed. Being taken away from her parents, she was raised by Master Pakku, a water-bending master. Although women are not allowed to water-bend in the North Pole, she was given an exception. For years she wondered why she was able to learn combat, but assumed it was because of her adopted-father's position. She was told of her being the Avatar at the age of 18 (2 years after she should have been told).and now she must travel through the 4 nations to learn the 4 bending disciplines and fuffill her destiny as Avatar
