Ian

Name: Frigidian Torbjorn (he prefers to be called "Ian")

Codename:
N/A
Age:
16

Relatives:
Roald Torbjorn (father), Grethe Torbjorn (mother)

Side: Good?

Powers:
Ian can generate and manipulate ice. He is also immune to temperature changes. (ex: He won't sweat if it's hot out, and he won't get frostbite if he's outside in his underwear during a blizzard.)

Clothing:

uniform - N/A

regular clothes -
Ian has brown hair and blue eyes. His skin is a bit pale, and he usually wears various DC (the clothing company, not the comic-book company), Volcom, Element, and Quicksilver shirts. For pants, he usually wears jeans, and he usually wears a black pair of Converse (black inside, black outside, black rubber, black stripe, black laces... all black) for shoes.

Background info:
Ian was born into a Norwegian family, the Torbjorns. When he was three, they moved to Silver Hills City, Canamerica, since his father had found a better job there as the head of a large manufacturing company. At the age of 12, he discovered that he had the ability to manipulate ice during a snowball fight with a few of his friends by accidentally causing all of his friends' snowballs to miss him and all of his snowballs to hit them directly in the chest. Later that year, during the summer, he discovered that he had the ability to generate ice on a particulary hot day, and his family's freezer wasn't working; he just willed for there to be ice, and it appeared. About a year later, when he was 13, he discovered that he was unaffected by temperature changes when he accidentally wore a short-sleeved t-shirt and a pair of shorts on a cold, winter day.

Fun fact: The name "Frigidian" is actually Roman, but all of the other names are Norwegian.

Fun fact 2: I do not plan on tragically killing him and using him as a plot device, like I did with Evan! ^_^

"A story has to be finished, and no matter how distracted you get, you need to force yourself to forge ahead, word by word. If your idea is boring though, and that's why you're easy to distract...well, that's a really fantastic reason for not being able to focus on the task at hand! In that case, head back to the drawing board. And again, don't give up!" - Marjorie Liu, NYX: No Way Home interview

"Really? That's INANE. Most people in life don't HAVE great power, and the few that do are almost NEVER responsible with it. The people who have the greatest responsibility are the kids with NO POWER because we're the ones who have to keep everybody else in check." - Gertrude Yorkes, Runaways (vol. 2) #11
