A small pomeranian who has the ability to transform into a fierce, glowing bird. In this form, Shimmer resembles the Phoenix Force. The transformation only occurs when Crystal is in danger or if somebody squeeezes the pendant around Crystals neck.
In the bird form shimmer can fly at speeds of mach 2. The bird can absorb all types of energy, it can also emit waves of raw energy by merely flapping its wings. It can also change it size from the size of an ordinary eagle to the size of a jet. Its power increases the more it gets angry
Unfortunately Shimmer cannot sustain this form for too long. If  she remains in this form for too long it could drain her life force entirely.
