Powers- Extensive knowledge of the arcane arts, potions, charms, spells, hexes, and curses (All of Lavender's Spells are purple in color..ALL as in fire, lightning, energy...etc. There are exceptions like ice, water,wind, etc)
Abilities- She has a staff that also acts as a bow to use when needed
Background- She was raised in a small medieval town where magic is forbidden and mythical creatures are killed on sight. She was found on the door step of an abbey with a note stating her family's name, and a purple gem around her neck which she was named after. Here the nuns raised her in secrecy. At the ages of 2-7 she began to display magical affinity. Strange happenings would occur when the child would experience high levels of happiness, anxiety, fear or anger. Fearing she would be marked as the devil and killed, the nuns forbade her from leaving the grounds of the church. On the night she turned 17 she ran away into the great forest. Here she found a tree where glowing butterflies made up the leaves, the closer she drew to it the more her gem glowed, once she touched the tree her pendant fleew off her neck and into the sky, it gathered the surrounding cloud and descended to the ground with a radiant light. From this light a small white horse appeared. Lavender immediately fell in love with the foal, but realized it was not an ordinary horse, it had small wings on its back. Lavender knew she couldn't bring the foal back and that her keepers would be searching for her, so she left the foal there by the tree and returned home. Since she has cared for the foal, her only friend, every night following. While with the foal Lavender practiced magic and became skilled in the art of its beauty. One night the glowing tree began to tremble, the butterflie leaves flew off the reveal a staff. The gem that the staff held was identical to Lavender's and from that moment on she knew she was destined for the path to becoming a powerful sorceress. The foal, which she named Belle, grew quickly and became a magnificent sight. She learned to fly and learned to talk from Lavender's teachings, Because of their bond, Lavender and Belle can communicate telepathically from miles away, which comes in handy.
