Goodbye New X-Men, hello Young X-Men

Just wondering what you guys were thinking about the decision to replace New X-Men with Young X-Men.

I, personally, am loving it for some demented reason. Guggenheim sounds like he'll do a good job on it, especially with Blindfold, and you all know I have a soft spot for Ruth! (She's my number 2! Second only to Regan, and tied with Layla Miller.) Though I am a bit scared about him killing off yet another character... I doubt it'll be Ruth, since he said he wanted to explore her past in his interview, and I doubt it'll be Sooraya, since he said he didn't want it to be an "all-boys club". Wolfcub is also doubtful, since he wants to turn him into a fan favorite, and he just created Ink. That leaves Santo, and I heart.gif Santo!

I heard about this and it sounds interesting. To bad most of the team though from New X-Men aren't going to be in it. At least Rockslide stays but I never thought Blindfold would join.

Kyle and Yost said that the other kids are going all over the place. What I'm hoping is that Surge or Pixie is the "female character from New X-Men" that's supposed to be in X-Men: Legacy with the great Mike Carey, and that Cessily heads over to X-Factor with the almighty Peter David. That, or Brubaker at least takes some of them over to Uncanny.

Nope... O_o I hope at least one of them other than Laura shows up in X-Force. Also, I think Hepzibah's going to be in X-Force; Yost said that someone that he considered sexy would be joining the team, and he expressed interest in writing Hepzibah awhile back in his "Emperor Vulcan" interview.

I'm seriously liking Yanick Paquette's character designs... 'Cept for Sooraya's; it looks a bit odd with gloves...

True. I was mad that Blindfold didn't play a bigger role in Messiah CompleX; she played a ridiculously huge role in "Blinded by the Light".
