Background info: Serafina Raylene was raised by two loving, muggle parents. When she got her letter to Hogwartz, her parents were a bit afraid and confused at first, but they eventually became very supportive of their daughter's magical tutelage. When she arrived at Hogwartz, she was sorted into the Raven Claw House, and has since become one of their more talented witches. Both Professor McGonagall and Professor Slughorn consider her to be one of their best students, despite the fact that she is in neither of ther houses.
