Your Current Bottom 5 Comics

You know how we have a Top 5...? Well why not a Bottom 5?

1 being the worst and 5 being the best.

1) Countdown (I just don't like it... It feels like whenever the writers finally get a hold on who the characters really are, the next writer comes in, and the process starts all over again. Also, the Mary Marvel storyline is total bull.)
2) New Avengers (The last two issues have SUCKED ASS.)
3) X-Men: Die by the Sword (All I can say is... What the HELL, Claremont?)
4) Green Arrow/Black Canary
5) Supergirl (Puckett's better than Kelly, but they could still do better.)

If your idea is boring though, and that's why you're easy to distract...well, that's a really fantastic reason for not being able to focus on the task at hand! In that case, head back to the drawing board. And again, don't give up!" - Marjorie Liu, NYX: No Way Home interview

"Really? That's INANE. Most people in life don't HAVE great power, and the few that do are almost NEVER responsible with it. The people who have the greatest responsibility are the kids with NO POWER because we're the ones who have to keep everybody else in check." - Gertrude Yorkes, Runaways (vol. 2) #11

5) X-Men: Die by the Sword

1) Countdown
2) New Avengers
3) Mighty Avengers
4) Ultimate X-Men
5) Ultimate Power (That ending was just... I dunno... I didn't like it all too much.)

No, no, no. My random comment was for the latest Ultimate X-Men, which was completely and utterly random and made absolutely no sense to me in any way, shape, or form.

1) New Avengers
2) Mighty Avengers
3) Countdown (This issue was eh... Better than the last, though...)
4) Ultimate X-Men
5) Exiles: Days of Then and Now (Edit: lol. Scratch that first comment. Claremont didn't write this. No wonder lesbian MJ was mischaracterized so badly and seemed to be in a heterosexual relationship with Power Fist... O_o On another note, based on the cover, it looks like even Psylocke is getting bored of Claremont's perverted obsession with her... xD)

1) New Avengers
2) Countdown
3) Mighty Avengers (Jessica joining the team slightly boosted its coolness.)
4) Ultimate X-Men
5) New Exiles (Claremont has made it is own; I hafta give him that. The Sage personality thing seems shockingly familiar... *cough* Rogue *cough* But on the plus side: ROGUE IS JAPANESE! BETSY HAS A NEW COSTUME! lol.)

1) Teen Titans (Sean McKeever cannot write this series. No. Just... No.)
2) Birds of Prey (I love this series. I love this series, and it's ending. Tony Bedard's current arc, however, just isn't doing it.)
3) Justice Society of America (Way too predictable.)
4) The Sword (That was a crappy little issue...)
5) X-Men: Manifest Destiny (Just 'cause the wrong comic got printed inside of it.)

1) Young X-Men (Congratulations, Guggenheim: you've managed to kill one of the most unique and fascinating comic book characters ever.)
2) Dark Avengers (These villains, no matter how despicable, no matter how disgusting, no matter how inhuman they are... These villains are still adults. They're sophisticated, mature adults. Osborn isn't an idiot. He wouldn't pick children for his "Avengers". Well, then... Why on Earth are they acting like some?)
3) Nothing.
4) Nothing.
5) Nothing.

2) Nothing
3) Nothing
4) Nothing
5) Nothing

1) Oracle: The Cure (...This is a joke, right? Someone PLEASE tell me this is a joke. Please?)
2)
3)
4)
5) Wolverine: Weapon X (It's not that this was a bad issue, hence why it's only #5... It's just that this image managed to be way too fast paced and have nothing happen at the exact same time.)

1) Justice League: Cry for Justice (If the point of a comic was to see how many times you could have someone shout "JUSTICE!" randomly, then this would be the greatest comic ever... That is not, however, the point of a comic book. The point of the comic book is to have a good story - with a good plot and good characterization - which is illustrated with good art. The art in this issue? Gorgeous... It's beautiful. The story, though? The story is one big, fat FAIL. It is simply a collection of people bitching about how people they know were killed... and then they all cry for "JUSTICE!" This is an utter piece of crap... A piece of crap with beautiful art, but a piece of crap, nonetheless.)
