Sak

Name: Serra Angela Kanyon (Her friends call her "Sak".)

Codename:
N/A (formerly "Mystic")

Age:
16

Relatives:
Father (unknown), Mother (unknown), Lilith (adopted mother; deceased), the Red Moon Clan (disowned)

Powers:
Telepathy, ego-centric magic, exo-centric magic, eco-centric magic, and "spell-bolts" (blasts of magical energy that she can shoot out of her fingertips without mumbling an incantation).

Clothing:

During school and when hanging out with her friends, Sak usually wears various kinds of goth clothing.

Background info: Serra was abondoned as a baby and found by a clan of sorceresses. They named her "Serra Angela Kanyon" after their leader. As she grew up, Serra began to grow to hate her name and abondoned it for, what she considered, a much better one, "Sak". At first, the clan of sorceresses, also known as the Red Moon, taught Sak at home, but they eventually allowed her to attend Public school like other children her age. As Sak reached puberty, her telepathic powers developed, and she began to look up to several superheroes as her idols; she even told herself that one day she would fight alongside them. At age 14, Sak created her superhero identity, "Mystic", and began to fight crime in secret. At age 15, she devised a failsafe that she has implanted into the brain of every person that she has ever been acquainted with and knows that causes them to immediately think about something else if they ever figure out that she is Mystic. Later on in her crime fighting life, when she was 16, she decided that it was time to give up the whole "secret identity" thing and stopped wearing a costume.

7 Years Later

Name: Sakura Ursula Mizuki (legally changed)

Age: 23

Relatives: Random Caucasian Male #76 (Biological Father), Hanako Mizuki (Biological Mother), Lilith (Adoptive Mother; Deceased), Red Moon Clan (Disowned), Sayo Mizuki (Half-Sister), Harrison MacDonald (Brother-in-Law)

Powers: Telepathy, ego-centric magic, exo-centric magic, eco-centric mgic, spell-bolts, and teleporting. Over the past seven years, Sak has continued to study the dark arts and has gained the ability to cast two spells at the same time.

Clothing: Due to becoming an English teacher at the high school, Sak's been forced to tone down her "Goth-ness" slightly, causing her to get rid of the red streak in her hair and wear less-revealing, less-fishnet-oriented clothing. She still, however, dresses pretty damn Goth.

Background info: After prom, Sak stayed in Silver Hills City for one more year and continued to study at the high school. It was during this time that Mizu revealed her suspicions that Sak was, in fact, her half-sister. They decided to have a DNA test taken, and it came back revealing that she was the daughter of Hanako Mizuki and an unknown Caucasian man. When she turned 18, she decided to adopt the name "Sakura Ursula Mizuki" because it just "felt right" at the time. After she graduated from Silver Hills High, Sak attended a liberal arts college and majored in both English and teaching. Afterwards, she attended Grad School for a year and then applied for a teaching position at Silver Hills High, which she was readily given.

If your idea is boring though, and that's why you're easy to distract...well, that's a really fantastic reason for not being able to focus on the task at hand! In that case, head back to the drawing board. And again, don't give up!" - Marjorie Liu, NYX: No Way Home interview

The people who have the greatest responsibility are the kids with NO POWER because we're the ones who have to keep everybody else in check." - Gertrude Yorkes, Runaways (vol. 2) #11

lol. It took me 15 minutes to find this thread.

So yeah.

If anyone wants to use Sak as a character (and I mean LEGITIMATELY use her as a character and not as some lame plot device or deus ex machina or damsel in distress ), then go ahead.

Just don't...

- killer her off (Unless you guys decided to do this already after I was forced to stop roleplaying.)
- de-Goth her
- have her hideously disfigured
- have her horribly tortured
- make her go to anger-management classes
- make her do anything that I wouldn't make her do
- anything else that would completely scar her for life more than she already is that I haven't mentioned already
