1) X-Factor (I. Loved. It.)
2) X-Men: Legacy (Mystique = win.)
3) The Amazing Spider-Girl (Not quite worthy of its title, but it was still a very good finale. It's a shame... 'cause I was just starting to really get into the title. It was fun while it lasted, though, and it'll be back in Amazing Spider-Man Family, but still. It's a shame that the title got canceled. I'm going to miss it. heart.gif )
4) Nothing
5) Nothing

Missed the comic book store the last two weeks, so I'll do a double-sized post that nobody'll care about. Woohoo! xD

1) Exiles (This single debut issue managed to destroy all of those disgusting memories of Claremont's run that I had. Brilliant.)
2) Dark Reign: Elektra (Glorious.)
3) Captain Britain and MI13 (Wow. O_o)
4) Wonder Woman (Wait. What?! Did Wonder Woman do what I think she did, or am I just delusional again?! xD)
5) All New Savage She-Hulk (This is the greatest level of awesomeness a She-Hulk comic that doesn't focus on Jen could possibly be. That's surprisingly high level of awesomeness.)
6) Agents of Atlas (Ouch. Poor Namora.)
7) X-Infernus (Yay! A semi-happy ending! heart.gif )
8) Avengers: The Intiative - Featuring REPTIL (Oh, Tigra... If you weren't in a bikini, I'd take you SO much more seriously.)
9) Runaways (ROCK ZOMBIES! =D)
10) Wolverine: First Class (Oh, Peter David... You make even the most mundane titles interesting.)

1) X-Factor ("I don't HATE everybody. I think I'm BETTER than everybody. It's completely DIFFERENT." - Monet)
2) Air (Amelia Earhart is a main character. 'Nuff said.)
3) The Incredible Hercules ("Total dumpage (Awww...)" - Recap Page)
4) X-Force/Cable: Messiah War... WHICH MY COMIC BOOK STORE FINALLY GOT IN ("I brought 'Travel Connect Four.' Who's first?" - Deadpool)
5) Marvel Assistant-Sized Spectacular ("Hawkeye, we went with Archeology Jackson to find the Crimson Crown. We didn't bother waking you up because you have no powers and are useless to us. You are only an Avenger because Captain America thinks it will stop you from being a bad guy or something. P.S. DON'T EAT MY CAKE!" - Mini Iron Man)

1) Avengers: The Initiative (Komodo... O_o heart.gif )
2) Secret Six (Jeanette is officially THE greatest DC Comics character. Ever. There's no doubt about it.)
3) Avengers: The Initiative - Special [FROM WAAAAAY BACK] (Reading this after the latest issue... literally killed me a little bit on the inside... Good stuff. heart.gif )
4) The Incredible Hercules (The Dark Avengers + the usual cast = hilarity.)
5) Dark Reign: Elektra (Underwhelming, compared to last issue, but still great.)

This was a fantastic week of comics for me.
I mean, everything I read was really, really good.
I really want to put X-Factor in all 5 places.
I really do.
But I just can't.
So I'll simply put everything at #1... except X-Factor. Which shall be #A...
DO NOT QUESTION MY GRADING SYSTEM!

A) X-Factor (YES! YES! YES!)
1) Captain Britain and MI:13 (Genuine shock and awe... O_o)
1) Secret Six (Ooooooh, Gail Simone... xD)
1) The All New: Savage She-Hulk (Brilliant dialogue. I mean, BRILLIANT dialogue. I LOVED that dialogue. I want to have SEX with that dialogue. I mean, WOW. BRILLIANT! heart.gif )
1) New Mutants (I'd say brilliant, but there was an overabundance of that word in my last commentary on She-Hulk.)
1) Ultimate Spider-Man (Cat fight ftw... though it only lasts five seconds.)
1) Wonder Woman (More genuine shock and awe... O_o)
1) Exiles (So. Much. Fun... I think my brain just exploded. xD This also contains a cameo that proves my theory that Jeff Parker and Fred Van Lente are secretly BFFs.)
1) Agents of Atlas (Jeff Parker goodness. heart.gif )
1) X-Men: Legacy (I love you, Mike Carey. heart.gif I mean, I wouldn't have sex with you, but I love you, Man!)

It's another week of 1s! =D
And two A's.

A) Dark Reign: Elektra (Spectacular. Superb. Fantastic. Amazing. Awesome. Outstanding. I can't think of another adjective.)
A) Runaways (Molly + the X-Men = heart.gif )
Also: Runaways + New X-Men = SUPREME AWESOMENESS
PROOF OF THIS SUPREME AWESOMENESS!

IS THAT NICO AND NORI DANCING TOGETHER?! YES. IT IS.
IS THAT CHASE BECOMING BFFS WITH ROCKSLIDE? YES. IT IS.
IS THAT DUST BABYSITTING KLARA IN THE BACKGROUND?! YES. IT MOST CERTAINLY IS.
DO I HAVE THE GREATEST AVATAR EVER, CONTAINING TWO OF MY FAVORITE TEENAGE SUPERHEROES AT A DANCE CLUB, DRAWN BY ONE OF MY FAVORITE ARTISTS AND COLORED BY MY FAVORITE COLORIST?! YES. I BELIEVE. SO.

1) Air (There's a reason this was nominated for an Eisner.)
1) Avengers: the Initiative (Lol'ed at the Ant-Man appearance.)
1) X-Men: Legacy (I LOVE YOU, MIKE CAREY. heart.gif I STILL WON'T HAVE SEX WITH YOU, THOUGH.)
1) Wonder Woman (I LOVE YOU, GAIL SIMONE. heart.gif YOU, I WILL HAVE SEX WITH.)
1) Incredible Hercules and Agents of Atlas (It's a Jeff Parker/Fred Van Lente sandwich!...Yeah, I just had to do that. lol.)
1) Ms. Marvel (Fantastic, fantastic, FANTASTIC art. And it's all by the penciler. Very impressive.)

1) Guardians of the Galaxy (GENIUS! DnA rule. How will the GOTG deal with the Inhumans AND the Imperial Guard?!)
1) Nova (DnA continue to show who rules the galaxy... in comics I mean)
2) New Avengers (Only because Hellstorm was in it)
3) Dark Reign: Hood (Its an interesting start to see the Hood's side of the story. Makes me want to pick up the Hood MAX series TPB)

GUESS WHAT?!
This week - yes, THIS WEEK - there was an issue so amazing... that I had to give it a Q.
Yes, the glorious Q...
And a whole paragraph explaining its Q-fulness.
*drumroll*

Q) Runaways

Oh, sweet, glorious Kathryn Immonen... How I am passionately in love with thee, even though thou hast slain my beloved SPOILERS! Old Lace.

This is the most glorious issue of Runaways since Brian K. Vaughan left the title... It was utterly flawless, with my favorite artist, favorite colorist, and favorite female writer besides Marjorie Liu who works for Marvel making up the creative team... Yes, this is a fantastic issue of Runaways. Great characterization, great dialogue, great art... Great greatness. I loved every panel of this issue; ever word bubble; every caption.

This, my Duckies, is a masterpiece.

A) Dark Reign: Elektra (I AM IN LOVE WITH ZEB WELLS. heart.gif )
A) X-Factor (CORTEX! DOOM! MAN ON MAN ACTION! LAYLA MILLER!)
A) Captain Britain and MI-13 (GLORIANA... HAS ARRIVED! =O)
A) Batman: Streets of Gotham - Manhunter Second Feature (I shall miss Ramsey dearly, but KATE'S BACK! We just won't let her comic get cancelled, will we? xD)
A) All New Savage She-Hulk (This is the most amazingly sick and twisted comic that I've ever read. Ever.)

1) X-Force (YOU BETCH'ER ASS YOU'RE SAVIN' MY TABBY, LAURA! -_- )
1) Ms. Marvel (Ha. Knew it.)
1) Thunderbolts (DUN DUN DUNNNNN!)
1) Dark Wolverine (MARJORIE LIU ON A MONTHLY TITLE?! YESSSSSSSSS!)
1) Detective Comics (Beautiful art, fun story, fun villain.)
1) Detective Comics - Question Second Feature (Interesting...)
1) Batman: Streets of Gotham (Oh, Harley... xD)
1) Madame Xanadu (This normally would have gotten an "A", but the art really hurts it... I miss my Amy Reeder Hadley.)
1) Air (Fantastic. I had no idea what the hell was going on, but DAMN, it was good. xD)
1) The Incredible Hercules ("Amadeus Cho, voted 'World's Most Annoying Boy Genius' by Reed Richards Fan Club, Poughkeepsie Local 12")
1) Avengers: the Initiative (RAWR! SMASH THE HOOD, TIGRA! SLIT HIS THROAT AND EAT HIS EYESSSSS! REVENGE! REVENGGGGGEEEE! ...But no... That doesn't happen.)
1) Wonder Woman (IT. ALL. MAKES. SENSE. O_o)

I've started this new thing where I only buy comics that I like.
Haven't enjoyed Uncanny since Fraction took over.
Haven't liked Dark Avengers... ever.

Its not a bad story from what I've read its just that... it could have been done a little bit better. I'm still going to be picking up the chapters though.

There are numerous things that have completely turned me off from anything Fraction has or ever will write (and believe me... I have given him numerous shots, Uncanny-wise):

- His hypocrisy: he constantly mentions how Dazzler and Northstar are going to have - and apparently have had - "significant roles" in his Uncanny issues, while they've actually only had horrible cameos.
- Him turning Pixie - a character I once loved - into a Mary Sue I now loathe with a burning passion... His Pixie doesn't exist to me.
- Him not using Regan well or properly... and (possibly... I have a theory, supported by evidence) taking her away from Carey, forcing him to have Miss Sinister turn out to be "Claudine Renko", instead of - what I believe the original plan was to be - a resurrected Regan.
- His wild mischaracterization of the Cuckoos... I mean, the Cuckoos? Slutty and flirty? SMILING? REALLY? REALLY?! No... Just... no.
- His somewhat less wild mischaracterization of Hellion, getting him confused with Kid Omega... The Julian that Kyle and Yost write would never act so... stupidly, I guess. It was just... SO out of character. So wrong.
- His other somewhat less wild mischaracterization of Elixir, willing to cheat on Loa with... the Fraction Cuckoos?
- The terrible ending to the Sisterhood arc.
- Having Psylocke switch into her British body, only to kill it off and have her go back to her Asian one... Completely pointless.

Darling, that was Whedon, and I loved every panel of it.
I mean, I HATED it... but it was beautiful, and I loved it.
